About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Unreal Engineer to join our team at UpRecruit. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality game features using Unreal Engine 4 and/or 5.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop game features, including gameplay mechanics, systems, and tools, using C++ and Unreal Engine.
  • Collaborate with art and design teams to create and iterate on game features, ensuring a cohesive and engaging player experience.
  • Prototype and iterate on features, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and ensuring technical excellence across multiple platforms.
  • Optimize and fix bugs in existing systems, ensuring a high level of performance and stability.
  • Contribute ideas and expertise to all aspects of game production and development, including game design, art, and audio.
  • Write robust, maintainable, and performant code, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
Requirements
  • Professional experience developing games, with a strong track record of shipping AAA titles.
  • Expertise in developing games using Unreal Engine 4 and/or 5.
  • An analytical mind, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
  • Strong C++ skills, with the ability to code and architect gameplay mechanics, systems, and tools.
  • Strong math skills, with a solid understanding of game development principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Console and mobile game development experience, with a strong understanding of game development pipelines and processes.
  • Experience working on live service games, with a focus on technical excellence and player engagement.
  • Self-motivated and highly organized, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
  • A deep interest in games and game development, with a passion for creating engaging and immersive player experiences.
