Job Summary: UFP Industries is seeking a skilled Assembler I to join our production team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for fabricating component parts and assembling finished products according to customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete work area setup and ensure a safe and clean working environment
- Fabricate and assemble component parts in accordance with quality standards and customer specifications
- Operate hand tools as required to complete the assembly process
- Stack completed products and ensure they are properly labeled and packaged
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report any issues or concerns
- Maintain accurate production records and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
- Participate in safety and quality improvement programs and meetings
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- No minimum experience required, but 6 months of manufacturing and assembling experience is preferred
- Working knowledge of basic math
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
