Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Inspector to join our team at Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh University Place. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our hotel rooms meet the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect hotel rooms to ensure that all supplies and amenities are fully stocked and meet brand standards.
  • Train, schedule, and coach housekeeping associates to ensure they perform their duties in accordance with established brand standards and company values.
  • Inventory stock to ensure adequate supplies and issue supplies and equipment to associates as needed.
  • Inspect work performed to ensure that it meets specifications and established standards.
  • Perform or assist with cleaning duties as necessary and confer with staff to resolve performance and personnel problems.
  • Oversee training of Room Attendants and supervise Laundry employees, if applicable.
  • Schedule employee work hours and follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to our EarthView program.
  • Practice safe work habits and wear protective safety equipment as required.
Requirements
  • High School diploma preferred.
  • Previous housekeeping experience and previous supervisory responsibility preferred.
Work Environment and Context

This is a varied role that may include working on holidays and weekends. You will be required to stand for extended periods, walk, push, lift up to 25 pounds, reach, kneel, and bend.
