Key Responsibilities- Provide Direct Patient Care: Assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans for assigned patients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.
- Communicate Effectively: Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams through clear, empathetic, and respectful communication.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, share knowledge, and ensure seamless transitions.
- Document Patient Information: Accurately and thoroughly document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Participate in Quality Improvement: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices to enhance patient care.
- Education and Licensure: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; current RN license in the State of Texas.
- Certifications and Credentials: BLS certification required; advanced specialty courses and national certification in pediatric nursing preferred.
