Endoscopic Technician

The Endoscopic Technician plays a vital role in facilitating safe and effective endoscopic procedures utilized by physicians for diagnostic purposes in adult patients.

• Support the execution of endoscopic procedures, ensuring a safe environment for both patients and medical staff.
• Demonstrate proficiency in the setup and maintenance of endoscopic equipment.
• Assist in educating patients and their families under the guidance of the attending physician.
• Participate in cross-training initiatives to assist in various procedures as required.
• Manage the distribution of specimens, documentation of procedures, and oversee related paperwork and billing processes.

• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
• Completion of a Certified Medical Assistant Program is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of prior experience in an endoscopic setting is preferred.
• Experience working in an Endoscopic Lab is advantageous.
