Certified Nursing Assistant

As a Certified Nursing Assistant - Hospice Care Specialist with Providence Health & Services, you will provide supportive personal care services to patients of all ages according to their individualized physical needs, in accordance with state and federal regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care services to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as eating, toileting, and transferring
- Monitor patients' physical and emotional well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the registered nurse
- Support patients and their families in coping with the end-of-life process
Requirements:
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
- Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire
- Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire - if practicing within this state
- 2 years experience (exception would be a nursing student with current CNA)
- Experience using electronic medical record software
