Job Summary:

As a Critical Care Flight Nurse with Air Methods Corporation, you will be responsible for providing high-quality critical care services to patients in need. This role requires a unique blend of clinical expertise, communication skills, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and triage patients in emergency situations, utilizing established standards and guidelines.
  • Provide critical care services, including treatment and stabilization of patients, in accordance with Air Methods' Community Base Services (CBS) Medical Director's guidelines.
  • Collaborate with medical directors, pilots, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care and transportation.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical protocols, procedures, and equipment to provide the highest level of care.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Arizona.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care nursing, preferably in a flight or emergency setting.
  • Advanced life support certifications, such as ACLS and PALS.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
