Experienced Paramedic

As a Paramedic with Elder's Choice Inc, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Your primary goal will be to provide safe, efficient, and cost-effective care to patients by possessing a high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and upholding a patient-focused care approach.

• Collect and document patient information, including medical history and current health status.
• Complete and/or review medical information as defined by policy on existing customers.
• Make accurate and ongoing assessments of patient status and respond appropriately.
• Initiate a plan of care based on initial assessment and ongoing patient needs.
• Document patient care in Medical Chart section of JotForm, including patient's complaint/reason for visit, intervention and treatments provided, patient response to care provided, and any abnormalities encountered.
• Administer medications via injection and intravenous routes according to best practice standards and policy and procedure.
• Observe and document patient's response to therapies and medications.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and safe environment for patients and staff.

• Current certification or licensure as EMT-Paramedic.
• Current CPR/BLS/ACLS certification.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.

This position requires intermittent physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching as well as lifting various amounts. Employee will be scheduled based on operational need and may be required to work at any facility. Travel to events may be provided depending on distance and circumstance.

$20.00 per hour
