Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team in Charleston, SC. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images for medical analysis, working in both Mobile MRI and Main MRI settings, and participating in emergency response teams during hurricane season.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate MRI scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images for medical analysis.
  • Work in both Mobile MRI and Main MRI settings, ensuring seamless patient care.
  • Participate in emergency response teams, particularly during hurricane season, to ensure the safety and well-being of patients and staff.
  • Adhere to the hospital's dress code, wearing teal tops and black bottom scrubs.
  • Utilize Epic for charting and maintain accurate records.
  • Eligible candidates must be willing to commute from within a 60-mile radius.
  • First-time applicants are accepted, and orientation consists of 16 hours of non-billable time.
  • All time-off requests must be included at the time of application.
  • Applicants should be aware that they may be part of emergency response teams from June through November, the peak hurricane season.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience required; Siemens experience and Level 1 Trauma experience preferred.
  • State license is not required, but a South Carolina license is prioritized.
  • ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT Certification is a must-have.
Additional Information:
  • The facility prioritizes candidates with a South Carolina license in hand, though those with a pending license are still considered.
  • Ex-employees must have a one-year gap before returning as a traveler.
  • Completing non-billable modules pre-start is required.
