Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough maintenance of hard surface and carpeted areas, including dusting, mopping, stripping, waxing, and shampooing.
  • Utilize protective gear and adhere to safety protocols during all cleaning activities.
  • Ensure that cleaning tasks are completed on schedule and meet quality standards.
  • Report any equipment or supply needs to the supervisor promptly.
  • Safely mix and apply cleaning solutions, following all safety guidelines.
  • Collect and dispose of trash and recycling appropriately.
  • Engage in physical activities, including lifting, pushing, and bending, as required by the job.
  • Maintain a positive representation of the company while interacting with clients and coworkers.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior experience in custodial or janitorial roles is advantageous.
  • At least one year of experience in floor care is preferred, but training will be provided.
  • Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions effectively.
  • Willingness to perform repetitive tasks consistently.
  • Must be able to work independently after training.
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
  • Compliance with all health and safety regulations, including COVID-19 policies.
