Job Summary

We are seeking multiple Part Time Cafeteria Workers and Lunch Time Helpers to join our team at a school district in Jefferson Hills, PA. As a Cafeteria Worker and Lunch Time Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cafeteria and providing excellent customer service to our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve food to students and staff, including cutting up fruits and vegetables, making and wrapping sandwiches and salads.
  • Set up and stock work areas with all necessary ingredients and equipment.
  • Assist with daily cleaning duties in the cafeteria, including cleaning equipment and work areas, mopping, operating dishwasher and/or scrubbing pots and pans.
  • Clean up lines at the end of the meal shift and put away/dispose of leftovers.
  • Safely operate standard and specialized kitchen equipment, including convection/combi ovens, microwave ovens, dishwashers, food warmers, coolers and freezers.
  • Set up a serving line with appropriate serving equipment.
  • Clean work areas and dispose of garbage daily.
Requirements
  • Fingerprints through the Department of Education, PA Criminal Background Check, and PA Child Abuse clearance.
