We are seeking a skilled Road Maintenance Technician to join our team at W A Kendall and Company LLC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet of vehicles and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles and equipment, including gasoline- and diesel-powered automobiles, trucks, and construction equipment.
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
- Order and procure parts and materials as needed, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time spent, materials used, and repairs made.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in vehicle repair and maintenance, with a focus on heavy equipment and road maintenance.
- Valid driver's license and CDL preferred.
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols and regulations, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
