Phlebotomy Technician

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Saint Francis Health System. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting patient specimens competently and accurately, supporting the general operation of the Laboratory, and documenting collection and processing specimens efficiently.

• Collect patient specimens competently and accurately
• Support the general operation of the Laboratory
• Document collection and processing specimens efficiently
• Perform phlebotomy collections in a timely manner

• High School Diploma or GED
• 0 - 6 month(s) related experience inclusive of on the job or classroom training in phlebotomy
• Basic PC Skills
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills

Works directly with patients and/or customers, works with internal customers via telephone or face to face interaction, works with external customers via telephone or face to face interaction, and works with other healthcare professionals and staff.
