Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Collector to join our team in San Antonio, TX. This role is perfect for individuals with strong customer service skills and the ability to work accurately and compassionately with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Claims Processing: Review, research, investigate, process, and adjust claims to ensure accurate payment processing.
  • Trend Analysis: Analyze and identify trends in provider reports as necessary to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Productivity and Quality Standards: Consistently meet productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards to deliver exceptional results.
  • Plan Document Interpretation: Understand and interpret plan documents, networks, and contracts to apply refunds and overpayments as needed.
  • Fee Schedules and Rates: Utilize appropriate fee schedules and rates for claims processing to ensure accurate reimbursement.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in medical claims, A/R, or billing.
  • In-depth knowledge of Medicare and commercial payor systems.
  • Reliability and strong communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
