Pediatric Emergency Medicine Specialist

Position Overview:
The Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) division at NYU Grossman School of Medicine is seeking board certified or board eligible physicians specialized in pediatric emergency medicine to become part of our esteemed academic group.
Opportunity Highlights:
This role presents a unique chance to collaborate with our academic PEM team and emergency medicine colleagues across various locations, which are currently enhancing their services and experiencing growth in patient volume.
Clinical Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will engage in clinical duties at multiple NYU Langone Health facilities. Our main institution is recognized for its comprehensive pediatric services, including specialized care in areas such as oncology, transplant, complex gastrointestinal and hepatology cases, cardiology, and advanced surgical procedures.
Community Engagement:
Our Brooklyn facility serves a diverse community and offers a rich teaching environment. Additionally, our Cobble Hill location operates as a dedicated emergency department, ensuring continuous PEM physician coverage.
Academic Integration:
Beyond clinical responsibilities, the candidate will play a vital role in our dynamic academic PEM division, which boasts a well-established fellowship program and a commitment to scholarly activities in education, ultrasound, simulation, community outreach, and quality enhancement.

Compensation:
NYU Langone Health adheres to the New York Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The annual salary range for a junior faculty position is between $282,800 and $302,500. Candidates eligible for higher faculty appointments are encouraged to apply. Actual salaries will vary based on factors such as faculty rank, qualifications, research background, specialty, and organizational needs.
