Job SummaryThe Resident Care Associate is a vital member of our care team, responsible for providing general non-certified routine services to our residents. This role requires a compassionate and detail-oriented individual who is committed to delivering high-quality care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with housekeeping and laundry services, including trash removal and making and changing unoccupied beds.
- Support all aspects of meal service, including transportation of residents to and from the dining room, tray delivery, and ensuring a great dining experience.
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and ensure that residents who are unable to call for help are checked frequently.
- Assist with 1:1 observations as assigned and maintain communication with the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse to report any resident changes in condition, concerns, and grievances.
- Provide great customer service, companionship, communication, and engagement in activities.
- Assist clinical staff to make residents comfortable, including checking sitting position, hydration, and passing.
- Assist with personal care responsibilities according to state regulatory guidelines.
We are seeking a candidate with a High School diploma or equivalent and 0-1 year of experience in a healthcare setting. A valid driver's license is not required for this role.
