Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner Physician Assistant to join our team at The Little Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and promoting health and wellness in our retail settings.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care and education, building strong relationships with patients and the healthcare community.
  • Collaborate with our healthcare team to achieve optimum patient satisfaction and promote health and wellness.
  • Stay current with clinical best practices and attend ongoing education seminars to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in peer review, quality assurance, and staff meetings to ensure a safe and quality-based healthcare environment.
  • Manage clinic inventory and order supplies to maintain cost-effective clinical operations.
  • Perform quality control on instrumentation and CLIA waived testing as scheduled.
  • Utilize company information systems as directed and in compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies.
  • Support mentor program by being a resource and a role model.
  • Provide coverage for clinics within the region as needed, and as assigned by regional management.
  • Control costs at the clinics to meet budgeted profitability goals.
  • Maintain a presence in the community through active membership in local nursing organizations and participation in community outreach programs.
Requirements
  • Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Bachelors Degree as a Physician Assistant.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and responsibilities.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Excellent telephone, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in retail health, emergency health, or critical care.
  • Experience with electronic health record charting systems.
  • Experience with applicable clinical procedures.
  • Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and influencing skills.
