Esp Associates seeks a skilled Geospatial Technologist to lead our LiDAR operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing automated classification strategies and testing new technologies to improve our lidar processing efficiency.

Esp Associates is a multi-discipline engineering design and consulting firm providing civil engineering, surveying, planning/landscape architecture, geosciences, environmental, subsurface utility engineering, and construction engineering inspection services.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated experience with TerraSolid software related to lidar processing such as TerraScan, TerraMatch, and TerraBatch
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop and implement automated classification strategies
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with peers and managers
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and ESRI ArcMap
  • Knowledge of mobile, UAS, and terrestrial sensors, as well as transportation, utility, USGS, or large area lidar projects is a plus
Benefits and Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive compensation, 401(k) matching, PTO, health insurance, and education reimbursement opportunities.
