Role Description

We're seeking an Associate Designer to join our team in Los Angeles. As a key member of our design team, you'll assist in the creation of handbags and small leather goods, ensuring product quality and brand consistency.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop designs from concept to final sample, collaborating with senior designers and design directors.
  • Manage tech packs, specs, and line sheets, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
  • Work closely with production partners to ensure seamless product development.
  • Support the design team in preparing for major milestone meetings.
  • Coordinate sample arrival timelines and manage sample organization.
  • Attend weekly design team and production team meetings.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field.
  • Exceptional communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of materials, patterns, and techniques.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and take creative direction.
  • Attention to detail and passion for fashion design.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Illustrator and PhotoShop, with strong sketching and illustration skills.
  • Strong understanding of the full cycle of design development from concept to commercialization.
  • 3-5 years of relevant industry experience designing and developing handbags and accessories.
  • Understanding of Clare V.'s brand aesthetic and lifestyle.
