Role of the CRNA:
As a CRNA, you will operate under the guidance of anesthesiologists to deliver comprehensive anesthesia care. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Conducting preoperative assessments and documenting patient information.
- Ordering and interpreting laboratory and diagnostic tests as permitted by state regulations.
- Administering pre-anesthetic medications and developing tailored anesthesia care plans.
- Utilizing and managing anesthesia equipment and monitoring devices to ensure patient safety.
- Providing airway management and facilitating patient recovery from anesthesia.
- Evaluating patient responses to anesthesia and making necessary adjustments during recovery.
- Implementing regional anesthesia techniques as per clinical privileges.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and an active RN license in Georgia.
- Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a clinical setting.
- Current Georgia CRNA licensure and certification from the National Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistants (NCCAA).
- BLS certification.
