Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at the Public Health Trust of Dade Co. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing complex ultrasound examinations and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations using advanced equipment and techniques
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of ultrasound principles and protocols
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient examinations and results
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited program in Ultrasound Technology
  • ARDMS registration and certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to analyze and prioritize work accurately, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional high-pressure situations
Working Conditions

This role requires extended standing or walking, with frequent visual acuity to perform activities related to extended use of computers. You will be exposed to various environments, including communicable diseases, toxic substances, and other conditions common to a hospital and medical office environment.
