Position Summary:

The Digital Finance Team at Lantheus is in search of a proactive and detail-oriented individual to oversee the administration and support of our financial planning systems, specifically SAP S4 HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). This role is crucial in assisting the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team with the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, as well as budget forecasts. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and possess advanced Excel capabilities to streamline routine tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the System Administrator for SAP Finance master data and the SAC financial planning application, ensuring optimal performance across all environments.
  • Implement, maintain, and enhance financial systems, including SAP S4/HANA (FI/CO) and SAP Analytics Cloud.
  • Facilitate new finance system implementations, assist in user testing, and create both standard and custom reports utilizing the SAC Excel add-in.
  • Comprehend essential finance Record to Report (RTR) processes, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and GAAP standards.
  • Encourage process improvements and challenge existing practices to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with various business units to gather ongoing requirements for system enhancements.
  • Support the Finance & Accounting team in the cross-functional implementation of improved financial systems.
  • Build strong relationships with IT and finance teams to achieve organizational goals.
  • Modify system configurations, automate reporting processes, and troubleshoot system-related issues.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements within SAP/SAC systems to simplify reporting and business processes.
  • Conduct regular maintenance of the SAP/SAC application, including monitoring data extraction and loading processes.
  • Oversee processes that support financial consolidation and reporting.
  • Manage data integrations and validate information from source systems to ensure accurate data flow.
  • Document existing processes, develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and create training materials.
  • Provide training and support to end users, acting as a liaison with the IT department.
  • Generate clear and concise financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience in financial reporting systems or Accounting Information Systems.
  • Experience with ERP implementations, with a preference for SAP and SAC knowledge.
  • Adept at working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with tight deadlines.
  • Understanding of data management, systems configuration, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of financial statements and their interrelationships.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and analyze large datasets.
  • Detail-oriented self-starter with a strong emphasis on teamwork and integrity.
