Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Therapist to join our team at Kenansville Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. As a Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive speech therapy evaluations, developing and implementing treatment plans, and documenting patient progress.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough speech therapy evaluations to assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide speech therapy services to patients, including individual and group sessions, to help them achieve their communication goals.
  • Document patient progress and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in speech therapy to provide high-quality care.
  • Supervise junior staff members or students as necessary, ensuring they meet state and federal regulations and requirements.
  • Participate in facility committees and attend meetings as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the department supervisor or Regional Manager.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Communication Disorders or related field from an accredited university.
  • Current license and/or registration in the state (as applicable).
  • Successful completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
