Physiotherapy Assistant

About the Role:

As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Quality Talent Group, you will be an integral member of our therapy team, working under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Your primary responsibility will be to assist residents in achieving their physical therapy goals, providing a supportive and caring environment that promotes independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure and record residents' motor function, strength, and muscle performance
• Observe residents and write progress reports
• Assist residents in carrying out specific exercises
• Treat residents with various techniques, such as stretching and massage
• Help residents use necessary equipment and devices
• Educate residents on proper exercise techniques to strengthen muscles and improve mobility
• Maintain residents' confidentiality and adhere to federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
