Responsibilities

The Mammography Technologist will be responsible for performing radiographic studies and mammography studies by operating x-ray equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide treatment and care appropriate to the age of the patients.

The successful candidate will be able to work well under pressure, organize and synthesize new information, and prioritize tasks. They will also possess critical thinking, analytical skills, and flexibility, with the ability to multi-task and work in an environment where interruptions cannot be controlled.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have an Associate's Degree or equivalent, with a minimum of one year of experience in Mammography and a New York State License. They will also be Registered by ARRT with an advanced certificate in Mammography.

The successful candidate will be able to work in a clean, well-lighted, heated or ventilated facility, with no routine exposure to hazards. They will also be able to demonstrate physical and functional ability to perform full anatomical range of motion to accomplish tasks, with evidence of visual and aural acuity and finger and hand dexterity to operate computer and office equipment.

The compensation range for this role is $43.57-$48.99 hourly, with the opportunity for bonuses, incentive pay, and other forms of compensation or benefits. The salary will be determined based on factors such as location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget, and internal equity.
