Senior Simulation Software Developer

SpaceX is driving the future of space exploration with cutting-edge software solutions. We're seeking a skilled Senior Simulation Software Developer to join our team.
As a critical member of our simulations team, you will design and develop high-fidelity simulation software supporting all SpaceX flight systems. This includes programming the core simulation infrastructure and collaborating on building models of fluids, electronics, and multi-body physics systems. Your work will have a direct impact on current and future mission successes, including Falcon, Falcon Heavy, Dragon, Starlink, and Starship.
Our ideal candidate will possess strong software design and development skills, as well as a thorough understanding of physics and math. Proficiency in C/C++ is required, and experience with debugging, performance optimization, and unit testing is highly valued.
The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a dynamic environment with changing needs and requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build high-quality software that meets the highest standards of excellence. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including access to comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage, 401(k) retirement plan, short & long-term disability insurance, life insurance, paid parental leave, and various other discounts and perks. Our estimated annual salary range for this position is $160,000 - $220,000 per year.
