Job Summary

As a Nutrition Care Associate at Jefferson Health, you will play a vital role in ensuring that patients receive exceptional customer service and accurate nutritional needs. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as proficiency in CBORD Food Service Suite nutrition software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process nutrition orders and tray tickets with 100% accuracy to ensure timely and safe meal delivery.
  • Communicate with patients, supervisors, and healthcare teams to address dietary needs, preferences, and allergies.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient menu selections, diet restrictions, and allergies.
  • Collaborate with Food Service Associates to ensure smooth departmental operations and efficient meal service.
  • Participate in department in-services to maintain operating standards and stay up-to-date on best practices.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous nutrition office experience preferred, but not required.
  • Dietetic Assistant Certification or Dietetic Technician Certification preferred, but not required.
