Franciscan Villa Inc is seeking a skilled Nurse Educator to join our team. As a key member of our nursing department, you will be responsible for the career development of clinical employees and assist with the development of all other campus employees. This role is instrumental in the interviewing, selection, and onboarding of new clinical employees and for providing education, training, and mentorship to new and established employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular rounding with established employees to ensure continued engagement and satisfaction
Facilitate 30, 60, and 90-day meetings with new employees to ensure successful onboarding
Provide guidance and support as needed to new and established employees
Oversee employee health information, educational programs, and campus and nursing department orientations
Requirements:
Associate's Degree or its equivalent, majoring in Nursing
Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin
Minimum 5 years of experience as an RN
Currently certified in CPR
Long term care experience preferred
