Job Summary

Ascension Illinois is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the Ascension Cancer Care Center in Romeoville, IL. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.

Responsibilities

- Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care that meets their individual needs.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and compassionate care.

Requirements

- BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
