Practice Opportunity Details

Carle Health is seeking a skilled Orthopaedic Surgeon with fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction to join our established Adult Reconstruction team in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois.

Key Highlights:
  • Join a well-established total joint practice with 3 BC, fellowship-trained Adult Reconstruction surgeons and 3 Advanced Practice Providers
  • Collegial Orthopaedic Division with 3 fellowship-trained Ortho Trauma surgeons, 4 fellowship-trained Hand Surgeons, 3 fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Sports Medicine surgeons, a general Orthopaedic Surgeon, 3 Primary Care Sports Physicians, and 5 surgical and office-based Podiatrists
  • Dedicated clinic time at a large modern 52,000 square foot Orthopaedic/Sports Medicine building in Champaign with on-site PT/OT and potential for dedicated clinic time at Carle At The Riverfront campus in Danville, IL
  • Block surgical opportunities at newly built 23,000 square foot Champaign Ambulatory Surgery Center as well as Carle Foundation Hospital and new Carle At The Riverfront campus / Surgery Center in Danville
  • Shared call supported by the Orthopaedic Trauma Service with daily 0730 block time
  • Opportunity for academic and research affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine, the world's first engineering-based medical school created in partnership with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
  • Potential opportunity to develop a robotic surgery program and regional outreach

Carle Foundation Hospital is a 489-bed Level I Trauma Center and the largest regional hospital in East Central Illinois. Champaign-Urbana is a vibrant college town with a population of ~195,000 residents and is home to the Big Ten University of Illinois.

Candidates must have completed an accredited Orthopaedic Surgery residency program and an Adult Reconstruction fellowship.
