As a Part-Time PRN Speech Therapist at Inspired Homecare, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to patients in the comfort of their own homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech therapy services to patients in their homes, helping them regain their communication skills and independence.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.
- Set your own availability and schedule visits with patients, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records, utilizing software such as Home Care Home Base to streamline your workflow.
Requirements
- Current license and/or certification as a Speech Therapist issued in Illinois.
- Minimum 1 year of home health experience, with a solid foundation in understanding the unique challenges and dynamics of providing therapy in a home setting.
- Valid CPR certification, ensuring swift and effective action in case of emergencies.
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance, as you will be traveling to patients' homes to provide care.
- Familiarity with Home Care Home Base is preferred, as this software can streamline your documentation and help you stay organized in managing your caseload.
