Structural Integrity Associates, Inc. is seeking a skilled Project Accountant to manage financial information related to projects. The successful candidate will work closely with business units to monitor project progress, investigate variances, and ensure timely billings and payments.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with Project Managers to communicate financial status and project-related information
* Generate and interpret financial records and statements for management and project managers
* Respond to client requests and investigate project variances and unpaid billings
* Create and closeout opportunities and projects in NetSuite
* Maintain project-related records, including contracts and change orders
* Create, review, and approve subcontractor invoices and project-related billings
* Compile information for internal and external auditors
Requirements
* 5 years of experience in project accounting or a related field
* BS degree in Business or Engineering
* Detailed knowledge of project contracts and change order documents
* Excellent communication and writing skills
* Experience with NetSuite and a plus
