We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Medical Director to join our team at The Institute for Family Health. As a primary care physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading clinical teams, and contributing to the development of our healthcare services.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in primary care medicine, excellent communication skills, and experience in leadership roles. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes, improve quality of care, and promote a positive work environment.
Responsibilities- Provide primary care services to patients, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
- Lead clinical teams, develop and implement clinical policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, manage referrals, and optimize resource utilization.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of our healthcare services, including program development, quality improvement initiatives, and education programs.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records, adhere to confidentiality and data protection policies, and participate in peer review and quality assurance activities.
- Graduate degree in medicine (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Licensure to practice medicine in New York State.
