We are seeking a qualified Electrical Instructor to join our team at Bladen Community College. As an adjunct professor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction in electrical studies, promoting student success and retention, and contributing to the college's mission and vision.

• Design and implement engaging instructional activities, incorporating the latest technologies and interactive learning methods.
• Deliver effective instruction in electrical concepts and principles, ensuring that content covers approved competencies.
• Maintain a safe and efficient classroom/lab environment.
• Evaluate student performance and provide detailed feedback to improve student learning outcomes.
• Use the college's student information system and retention software to support student success.
• Complete required college records, including attendance and grades, in a timely manner.
• Ability to teach nights and/or weekends.

To be successful in this role, you must possess an Associate degree or higher in Electrical or Electronics or a related field, along with relevant industry experience. Industry-recognized credentials and/or related work experience will also be considered. NCCER and National Electrical Code certification, as well as a good understanding of electronics and industrial controls, are preferred. Proficiency in Spanish is also a plus.

This is a part-time position with occasional travel required. Evening and weekend hours may be necessary. The work environment is typical to an office setting, with occasional work near video displays.
