Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Travel Registered Nurse to join our team at Davis Memorial Hospital. As a Travel Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients in the Geriatric Psych unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse, with a strong preference for travel experience.
  • Current BLS certification, with CPI certification strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work nights, 3x12, 7p-7a, with no block scheduling guaranteed.
  • Strong preference for RNs with rural health experience.
  • FLU vaccine required, with medical exemptions reviewed and religious exemptions not accepted.
Unit Information

The Geriatric Psych unit at Davis Memorial Hospital is a 13-week contract position, with a focus on providing high-quality care to patients with complex mental health needs.
