We are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Hospice Aide Trainee. As a trainee, you will have the opportunity to become a certified nurse aide while working with our team to provide exceptional care to our patients.
Responsibilities- Complete a certified nurse aide training program
- Pass the certification exam
- Work as a Hospice Aide Trainee while in training
- Transfer to a full-time Hospice CNA/STNA position upon certification
- Receive a scholarship up to $2,100 for courses, manual, and test to become a certified nurse aide
- Be paid minimum wage while in training
- Receive 10 hours of paid time per week while in training
- Be eligible for benefits associated with a full-time position upon certification
- Must be seeking a full-time position as a CNA/STNA
- Must be willing to relocate to another office (may increase the priority of the application)
- Must successfully complete an interview with the branch
- Must be able to pass a background check, references, and drug screen
- Must commit to a one-year employment offer from the date of transfer into a full-time CNA/STNA
- Must be willing to work weekdays and occasional weekends
- Must have and maintain a reliable automobile, valid driver's license, and the minimum state required liability auto insurance
