Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Breastfeeding Lactation Counselor to join our team at Schoharie County Community Action Program, Inc. As a Breastfeeding Lactation Counselor, you will provide support and education to women and their families regarding all aspects of breastfeeding. You will act as a community advocate to promote breastfeeding and work closely with our team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide breastfeeding support and education to women and their families
• Act as a community advocate to promote breastfeeding
• Work closely with our team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients
• Must be available to take calls on evenings and weekends and have the ability to work remotely

Requirements:

• Must have previous breastfeeding experience, as well as a high school diploma or equivalent
• A valid New York State driver's license is required
• CLC Certification and experience working with breastfeeding moms is required

What We Offer:

• Part-time positions are eligible for paid sick leave and employee assistance program
• Compensation range for this position is $17.00 to $19.00 per hour
