As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering personal care to residents while ensuring their safety and comfort in accordance with community policies.
  • Encouraging and facilitating the highest level of independence for residents.
  • Updating the supervising charge nurse on residents' conditions at the start and end of your shift.
  • Contributing valuable insights regarding residents' needs to their care plans.
  • Assisting in the execution of care plans as directed, adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Monitoring and documenting residents' conditions as required.
  • Following safe lifting and transfer procedures for residents as per established guidelines.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and functionality of equipment.
  • Performing light housekeeping or maintenance tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
  • Carrying out additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications for CNA:

  • State certification as a nursing assistant.
  • Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of a certified nursing assistant.
  • Strong observational skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
