POSITION: Interventional Radiology Tech

LOCATION: Rochester, MN (Onsite)

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts vary from: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm.

OVERVIEW: This role is dedicated to providing exceptional imaging services to both adolescents and adults. The technician is responsible for generating high-quality diagnostic images for Radiology and the designated areas within the Operating Room, adhering to the standards set forth by the Radiology Department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Demonstrates proficiency in operating a diverse range of imaging equipment and technology.
  • Adheres to safety protocols to ensure the well-being of patients, colleagues, and self.
  • Encourages collaboration through effective communication within the team.
  • Exhibits adaptability to cover various work locations and shift schedules.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call duties that may encompass days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or eligibility for registry, with certification required prior to employment commencement.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T.(R) (ARRT) and must obtain ARRT registration in Vascular Interventional Radiology (VI) within 18 months of employment. Current Basic Life Support certification is mandatory.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in Interventional Radiology is essential.
  • Experience in a sterile environment and knowledge of aseptic techniques is preferred. An Associate's degree is advantageous.
