Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in the Kent, WA area. As a key member of our education team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in conducting assessments, evaluations, and therapy sessions to support students' communication skills.
  • Work collaboratively with students, individually or in small groups, to develop and implement effective therapy plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate with parents and caregivers to ensure seamless support.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to provide comprehensive support for students' speech and language needs.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings to contribute to the development of tailored education plans.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistance or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues.
