About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisor to join our team at H&R Block. As a Tax Advisor, you will be responsible for providing tax preparation, tax audit support, and tax planning services to our clients year-round.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their tax and business needs.
  • Provide expert tax advice and guidance to clients, including tax planning and audit support.
  • Conduct tax interviews with clients, both in-person and virtually, using video conferencing and other digital tools.
  • Identify opportunities to grow client relationships and increase revenue through the sale of additional products and services.
  • Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations, and ensure compliance with all relevant requirements.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in tax preparation and planning.
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including individual and business tax returns.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with clients of all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent.
