Job Title: RF Engineer

MIT Lincoln Laboratory is seeking a highly skilled RF Engineer to join our Quantum Information and Integrated Nanosystems Group. As a member of our team, you will be working at the forefront of quantum technology, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop novel quantum sensors.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and test analog radio frequency (RF) and microwave GHz circuits, components, and systems.
  • Architect and design advanced oscillator systems.
  • Participate in electrical design team including outlining requirements, circuit design and analysis, circuit simulation, and component selection.
  • Oversee and direct board layout and production of circuits.
  • Perform testing, and troubleshooting of RF circuits and subsystems.
Requirements:
  • Candidate should hold a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related field. In lieu of a Master's degree, a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of directly related experience will be considered.
  • Active microwave circuits
  • RF and analog systems
  • Proficiency in Microwave Office or ADS
  • Proficiency in Mentor or other circuit layout software
Additional Beneficial Experience:
  • Experience in discrete oscillator design
  • Experience in low-phase-noise oscillator design
  • Familiarity with Ansys HFSS
  • Quantum or sensor design
