About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Manager to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living in Kennebunk. As a Care Manager, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and services to our residents and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families, providing assistance with activities of daily living and attending to individual care needs.
  • Notify management of changes in condition and recommend adjustments in the level of care and service.
  • Assist residents in life skills and other life-enriching activities as indicated on their individual profile.
  • Participate in the development of Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) and monthly updates.
  • Responsible for a designated group of residents during the shift, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Partner with the community team to ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and promotion of Risk Management programs and policies.
  • Respond to dining needs of residents and guests while maintaining Sunrise hospitality and service standards.
Qualifications
  • Dedication to serving seniors with excellent customer service skills.
  • Positive attitude and flexibility to perform various duties in service to residents and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • High School diploma/GED accepted and may be required per state regulations.
  • In states where appropriate, must maintain certifications.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
  • Ability to make choices, decisions, and act in the resident's best interest.
  • Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and a level of understanding.
  • Competent in organizational and time management skills.
