This position is responsible for providing professional nursing services in a clinic setting, focusing on delivering high-quality patient care consistent with Virginia Mason Franciscan Health standards and values.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver professional nursing care to patients, perform diagnostic testing, and related clinical procedures as appropriate.
- Administer patient medications, track and log medication usage, and inventory controlled substances.
- Assist with point-of-care testing and lab tests following established protocols.
- Document procedures and interactions in patient electronic medical records.
- Prepare patients for practitioner visits, obtain and record vital signs, and ensure patient privacy and comfort.
- Organize exam rooms, clean and sterilize instruments, and maintain related equipment.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
- One year of RN work experience in a clinic setting or two years of acute care RN work experience preferred.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification.
