Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to fill the Night Audit position at Christiansburg Hotel, managed by VP Management LLC. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during overnight hours.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough night audit procedures to balance and reconcile daily financial transactions.
  • Process and post guest charges, payments, and adjustments accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare and distribute daily reports to relevant hotel departments and management.
  • Maintain accurate records of cash, credit, and debit transactions during shift.
  • Respond to and resolve guest inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction and hotel standards are met.
  • Follow all safety and security procedures and report any potential hazards or incidents.
  • Assist with other front desk duties and projects as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in hotel front office or accounting position.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management systems (PMS).
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work overnight shifts and weekends as needed.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Knowledge of hotel policies, procedures, and regulations is a plus.
