eTEC Fire Protection is seeking a skilled Sprinkler Foreman and Pipe Fitters to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. This full-time position will work from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a crew of pipe fitters and installers in commercial construction projects.
- Select and install pipes and fittings according to job plans and specifications.
- Inspect work sites to identify potential obstructions and plan installation sequences accordingly.
- Cut, thread, and bend pipes using various tools and equipment.
- Assemble and install piping systems, including metal and non-metal pipes and fittings.
- Test piping systems for leaks and ensure they meet precise standards of accuracy.
- Work safely and efficiently, making decisions based on measurable criteria.
- Lift and carry objects of varying weights, and detect and respond to hazardous conditions.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior supervisory experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to use power tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, balancing, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
