Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Travel Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to work in our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory care and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients in the PCU, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests and interpret results.
  • Develop and implement respiratory care plans for patients.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Float to other units as needed, including medical-surgical floors, cardiac floors, and rehabilitation units.
Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
  • Experience working in a PCU or similar setting.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Flexibility to float to other units as needed.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
