Basic Life Support Certification is required for this position. Additionally, completion of an approved de-escalation Certification Course within 90 days from hire is necessary. Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification is preferred.
Job DetailsThis is a 89-day contract position in Pediatrics nursing at Cape Cod Hospital, part of the Cape Cod Healthcare system. The job involves rotating days with shifts from 7:00am-7:30pm, including rotating weekends and holidays.
Job Requirements- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Basic Life Support Certification required.
- Completion of an approved de-escalation Certification Course within 90 days from hire.
- Successful passage of CCH's Pharmacology exam.
- BSN Preferred.
- Recent Pediatric experience within 2 years in an acute care facility.
This position requires 36 hours per week with rotating days, 7:00am-7:30pm, rotating weekends, and rotating holidays. Unpaid lunch is also required.
