Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Postpartum team at St. David's HealthCare. As a Postpartum Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to new mothers and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and provide patient care for all assigned patients
  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessment of the patient and family
  • Develop an individualized patient care plan
  • Provide family-centered patient teaching
  • Identify and correct variances from the patient care plan
  • Facilitate discharge planning and teaching
Requirements
  • 2 years of Postpartum nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Associate's degree Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
  • NIH Stroke Certification
