Job Title: Mammography Technologist - Travel

Job Summary: Focus Staff is seeking a travel mammography technologist to perform mammography procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients in a physician office, clinic, or hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality mammography procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner.
  • Work with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal operational capabilities of equipment.
  • Report issues to management or appropriate department.
  • Obtain, verify, and maintain all relevant documentation such as requisition/chart, patient history, pregnancy status, and shielding precautions taken.

Requirements:

  • Motivated candidates with at least 2 years of experience as a mammography technologist.
  • AHA Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
  • BSN from accredited nursing program, and proper licensure.
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.

Work Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a mammography technologist.

Job Type: Contract/Temporary/Travel

Location: Lawrenceville, GA

Pay Package: Based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week, with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
